I've been working my tushy off at work because I'm in the running for a big promotion (yea me!), but tonight I decided to treat myself to a movie...XMen3!!! I've been excited about this movie for a long time so Amy and I decided to catch it opening night. I just want to thank god for being able to buy movie tickets online (thanks god...you rock!), the line at the ticket booth was going outside the theater and down the sidewalk, we were able to just waltz on in...sweet. What a great movie. As with the other XMen movies, there are metaphors coming out the ass. There were also many shocking moments that I won't dare to mention (lest I ruin the surprises). My only problem was that there weren't enough XMen in this movie. When I think of X-Men I think of a whole army of heroes saving the day. I'm glad that Colossus (HOT! HOT! HOT!) was featured more heavily in this movie (and I'm glad they added Kitty Pride and Angel to the team (I feel Angel was only added for sex appeal) but I feel they really needed to feature more X-Men. Ellen Page was very cute as Kitty Pryde ... she seemed a totally different girl than the one I saw in Hard Candy. That's all I will say because I don't want to ruin it for anyone...wait, make sure you stay all the way through the credits for a little more :)
In other exciting news, Amy gave me a new Hello Kitty pen that she got on her business trip to Japan. I love when she goes to Japan and gets me Hello Kitty stuff to add to my collection. What a great friend :) I also have a new scent. That's right folks, I've changed my perfume. I've changed my look to match my new "career woman" attitude so I figured I might as well change my scent. The new scent is Burberry Brit. Classy, sophisticated, clean and elegant. So the next time you see me, come in close and breathe me in. hahaha!
